Lost in the Black Forest

You would be if you try this version of the classic black forest cake. The cherries used in the cake has been soaked in kirsch, a cherry liqueur, for three days before they go onto the chocolate sponge cake. The three-tier sponge tower is layered with rich chocolate mousse and covered with kirsch flavoured chantilly cream before finishing with a generous amount of chocolate shavings. And that's how you get lost in the forest.
